A monochromatic, crossmedia campaign.
The swiss eyewear label VIU approached Picsters to create awareness for their germany launch and drive sales for their new collection.
STRATEGY:We created a three-channel-video-installation for their new store in Hamburg, a commercial brand spot, and short form sequences for social media. To establish the film's essence, we determined, that a transcendet, monochrome, cinematic aestethic would set the film apart. For the identity, it was crucial to convey the film's purpose: to document the city at night through the viewpoint of Hamburg's coolkids: bloggers, instagrammers, dancer, entrepreneurs and seaman (e.g. Fabian Hart, Ava Carstens).
RESULTS: The videos achieved over 200K views in the first days of the campaign. Covered by style blogs and shared among viu’s target audiences, the film created a buzz around the store launch and was used as the leading piece of content on the homepage.
